In 1983 the movie "Valley Girl" caused me to buy several albums; The Psychedelic Furs, Payolas, Modern English, and most importantly The Plimsouls. The Plimsouls, fronted by Peter Case, was the bar band at Nicolas Cage's favorite hangout. All three songs in the movie by the Plimsouls are on this album - "A Million Miles Away", "Everywhere At Once" and "Oldest Story in the World".
